Ducati prices to increase from January 1

0

Ducati will increase the prices of all variants of each of its motorcycles in India from January 1.

  • Ex-showroom prices to rise

  • Across all nine dealerships in India

  • Cites rising costs for price hike

Prices will rise across all of its nine dealerships in India. The Italian two-wheeler company has said that the price hike comes as a result of the rise in costs for material, production and logistics, notwithstanding greater expenses of other natural substances.

Ducati is one of the few global two-wheeler companies to have its entire model line-up on sale in India. This includes the new Monster, Hypermotard 950 and Panigale V4 SP. The company has also said that “plans to introduce MY22 models are underway, along with many Ducati Riding Experience activities that will go live for Ducati customers and prospects alike, and Ducati stays committed to launching all new MY22 models, starting from January 2022.”

At the final chapter of the Ducati World Premiere 2022, Ducati also unveiled arguably the most exciting bike of the lot, the eagerly anticipated DesertX. The 937cc Testastretta V-twin engine it uses is exactly the same one that does duty in the Multistrada and a host of other Ducati models. Output, at 110hp and 92Nm, is slightly lower than the Multistrada 950's 113hp and 96Nm. Click here to read more about it.
