If the recent revival of Yezdi has got you excited and you're looking to buy into the action then the easiest way to do that is with the Roadster, the entry-level model in the resurrected brand's line-up. Here's everything you need to know about it.
Yezdi Roadster: engine
The Roadster is powered by a 334cc, single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, just like the rest of Yezdi's line-up. But in the Roadster, it gets its own state of tune, as a result of which output figures stand at 29.7hp and 29Nm. The engine features twin exhaust ports, each feeding into a dedicated exhaust pipe, and it is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Yezdi Roadster: wheels of fortune
The Roadster is the only bike in the Yezdi line-up to feature alloy wheels, and consequently, tubeless tyres. It rolls on an 18-inch/17-inch alloy wheel setup, and its tyre sizes are 100/90-18 at the front and 130/80-17 at the rear.
Yezdi Roadster: variants
The Roadster is offered in two variants – dark and chrome. The former has a slightly more barebones, outlaw look, with a small flyscreen, bar-end mirrors and blacked-out engine components, while the latter is more substantial, with a large front windscreen and conventional mirrors. Each variant has its own dedicated colour schemes, too.
Yezdi Roadster: features
Despite it being the entry-level model, Yezdi has equipped the Roadster reasonably well. Standard fitment includes an LED headlight and tail-lamp, fully-digital LCD instrumentation, and dual-channel ABS.
Yezdi Roadster: price
The Dark versions of the Roadster are priced between Rs 1.98 lakh and Rs 2.02 lakh, while the Chrome variant costs Rs 2.06 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom, Delhi).
