I want to buy a feature-rich CNG hatchback for around Rs 10 lakh. I had zeroed down on the Swift CNG but now that Maruti launched the Baleno CNG, I’m confused. Is it worth paying the premium for a Baleno CNG?

Autocar India says: The Baleno and Swift share their 1.2-litre petrol engine and 55-litre CNG tank, and are likely to offer similar performance and fuel efficiency. The Baleno Zeta CNG is priced at Rs 9.21 lakh, which makes it Rs 76,000 more expensive than the Swift ZXI CNG; however, it feels well worth the premium. Its interiors are nicer, the build quality feels better, and even the drive experience, thanks to a more fluid steering, is nicer than the Swift. It also gets a longer list of features, including six airbags. So, between the two, the Baleno CNG is the better buy.
