The race in Jerez saw the red flags come out again after a nasty crash at Turn 2 in the first lap. After the race was resumed, it was a battle for the top three spots between Francesco Bagnaia and the two KTM riders - Brad Binder and Jack Miller. The reigning world champion came out on top to take the lead in the race and the championship once again.
