Overall, Tata Power has installed 110 EV chargers across Uttar Pradesh till now. The state itself has taken major steps in promoting the adoption of electric vehicle by incentivising EV purchases. Under the current EV policy of Uttar Pradesh, the government offers a three-year exemption from tax and registration fees. Moreover, EVs manufactured within the state receive a five-year exemption from tax and registration fees.
