Now talking about the engine and gearbox, the GLC 43 will be powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine paired with a 14hp integrated starter generator. Combined they produce 421hp of power at 6,750rpm and 499Nm of torque at 5,000rpm. Mercedes claims that the new GLC 43 can sprint from 0-100 kph in 4.8 seconds.
