Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition also gets 1.0 petrol with AMT
The Magnite Kuro Edition gets all black interior and exterior theme and is available in top-spec 1.0 NA XV trims equipped with the five-speed manual and also the new AMT gearbox option which was not available earlier on the Magnite 1.0 NA. We expect Nissan to introduce the 1.0-liter AMT powertrain to be introduced in standard Magnite line-up too. The more powerful 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine equipped Magnite variants also get the Kuro Edition treatment.
Nissan Magnite Kuro edition: features
There could be a few feature additions as well, according to our sources. As far as features go, barring a sunroof, the Magnite already had a decent feature list including an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and even a 360-degree camera among a few other bits. Sources tell us that the Magnite Black Edition will be based on the top variant and will most likely be available with manual as well as automatic gearbox options.
Nissan Magnite: rivals
The Magnite is positioned at the lower end of the compact SUV segment which means it directly rivals the Renault Kiger and also takes on the likes of the higher variants of sub-compact SUVs Tata Punch, the Hyundai Exter and the Citroen C3. On the higher side, it has a long list of rivals starting from the recently updated Nexon, the Brezza, Venue, Creta and the Kia Sonet.
