F-Type ZP

Jaguar will mark the end of its combustion-engined sportscar era with a special ZP Edition of the F-Type. Jaguar has been making sportscars for 75 years, and this bespoke model is limited to 150 units worldwide.

  • F-Type ZP gets two engine options
  • Commands a significant premium over standard car
  • Jaguar to be EV-only brand from 2025

Jaguar F-Type ZP limited edition to be sold as coupe and convertible

The ZP F-Type takes its inspiration from two ‘Project ZP’ E-Types that raced at Le Mans in the 1960s, and will be built as a coupe and a convertible. Of the 150 examples worldwide, 10 of them are reserved for customers in the UK, while India allocations are not known yet. With Jaguar set to become an electric-only luxury marque in 2025, the F-Type will be joined in retirement by the XE, XF, E-Pace and F-Pace.

The F-Type ZP will join the F-Type 75, revealed last year, for the final year of production. Both come with an array of features to set them apart from the standard car. The special editions are offered with a 450hp or 575hp supercharged, 5.0-litre V8.

Jaguar F-Type ZP limited edition: additions over standard car

Chief among the F-Type ZP’s special features is a hand-painted white racing roundel on each of the doors, as well as two colour schemes that take influence from the Le Mans racers – gloss blue paint with red-and-black leather upholstery, and gloss grey paint with blue-and-brown leather upholstery.

Both feature gloss white grille surrounds to match the roundels on the doors, which are in contrast to the gloss black brake calipers and exterior trim pieces, and get ‘ZP Edition’ badges on the front wheel arches. It gets diamond-cut 20-inch forged alloy wheels, a gloss black dashboard to match the brake calipers and a ‘One of 150’ SV Bespoke plaque.

This marks it out from the F-Type 75 – revealed last year to celebrate 75 years of Jaguar sportscars – that got commemorative badging, gloss black wheels and a unique Giola Green paint option. The ZP Edition will sit right at the top of the F-Type line-up as far as exclusivity goes which, means it will command a significant premium over the standard range and the F-Type 75 special edition.
