I need a 6- or 7-seater petrol SUV with good efficiency, a proven engine, good interiors and a panoramic sunroof. I am confused between the Mahindra XUV700 and the MG Hector Plus.

Autocar India says: The XUV700 and MG Hector are quite different vehicles, so it depends on what you are looking for. For performance and driving pleasure, the XUV700 is a far better option than the Hector thanks to a strong 2.0 litre turbo-petrol that’s mated to a 6-speed torque converter automatic. The XUV700 is a better highway car too. However, if you are looking for a chauffeur-driven city car, then the Hector’s soft and smooth ride, DCT auto transmission and extremely comfortable rear seats are a better choice. The 1.5 turbo-petrol is smooth, but it’s thirsty. The interiors of both cars are packed with features.
