Honda has added a special edition variant for its flagship ADV called the Africa Twin Adventure Roads. The variant was launched in celebration of Honda’s group ride that takes place globally. The 2024 edition took place in Morocco and had riders covering about 2500km of off road on their Africa Twin.

To commemorate this epic journey Honda has launched a special edition variant which will be limited to only 75 units and be available in the UK. Finished in the brand's signature tricolour paint job, the Adventure Roads variant features engine guards, crash protection, radiator guards and a set of fog lights. Additionally the fuel tank features a Adventure Roads logo along with new stripes on the wheels.

Apart from these aesthetic changes the motorcycle remains mechanically unchanged and shares its features with the top-end  Africa Twin. Like the range topping variant, the Adventure Roads too gets electronic suspension that can be adjusted via its instrument cluster and will be available with a slight price increase. Unfortunately, this variant won’t make its way to India and will be limited to the UK market.

The Africa Twin is powered by a 1,084cc liquid-cooled parallel twin motor that produces 99hp at 7,500rpm and 109Nm at 6,000rpm. It’s equipped with a 24.5 litre fuel tank and has a 249kg kerb weight for the DCT variant. Additionally, the Africa Twin has a ground clearance of 210mm. The Africa Twin is currently available in India for an price of Rs 16 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai) for the manual variant and Rs 17.55 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai) for the DCT variant.
