Multiple sightings of various test mules of the Alcazar facelift have hinted at styling tweaks upfront and at the back of Hyundai’s three row SUV.  As far as looks go, there will be some unique bits that will separate the Creta from the Alcazar when viewed upfront. While the split headlamp design might remain similar, the grille and front bumper will have some differences. The alloy wheel designs and side claddings etc are redone and the rear sees a completely new tailagate with new-look taillamp setup that has a mix of vertical as well as horizontal elements.

The new look dashboard design replete with a twin screen setup that was seen on the Creta faceflit, will make its way on the Alcazar too. Like earlier, Alcazar will be available in six- and seven-seat configurations.  Under the hood, the current 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine options will carry forward. While the petrol powertrain churns out 160hp and 253Nm of torque and can be had with either a 6-speed MT or an optional 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, the diesel motor’s output is 116hp and 250Nm, and it is available with 6MT and 6AT gearbox options.
