BMW Motorrad has introduced a new colour option for its smallest supersport , the G310 RR. The G310 RR now comes in three colours: Cosmic Black 2, White with M Sport graphics, and Racing Blue Metallic. The price remains unchanged at Rs 3.05 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

  1. New colour available in addition to previous two
  2. G 310 RR is mechanically unchanged

The Racing Blue Metallic primarily uses blue but also has red, white and black accents. Other than the new colour scheme, the motorcycle remains mechanically unchanged. The G310 RR’s liquid-cooled, 312cc single cylinder engine is shared with the BMW G 310 R and the G 310 GS. It is also used in the TVS Apache RR 310 and RTR 310, although those bikes get a different tune. The motor in the BMWs churns out 34hp at 9,700rpm and 27.3 Nm of torque at 7,700rpm.

The suspension consists of a USD fork and a preload adjustable monoshock. Braking duties are handled by single discs at both ends along with dual channel ABS.

The G 310 RR’s main rivals in India are the KTM RC 390 (Rs 3.20 lakh), and the TVS Apache RR 310 (Rs 2.49 lakh to Rs 2.72 Lakh), ex-showroom, Delhi.
