Another day closer to 2025, another Honda commuter updated. As with the Activa 125 and SP125 that have been updated in the past few days, the SP160 has now followed suit, gaining the new 4.2-inch TFT display, a USB-C charging port and OBD-2B compliance. With this update, prices have gone up by Rs 3,000 - Rs 5,000, depending on the variant.
- Available in four colours, two variants
- Same TFT dash as Activa 125, SP125
The Honda SP160 is the bigger sibling to the SP125 but its fundamentals are largely shared with the popular Unicorn. This update brings the SP160 in line with the latest OBD-2B emission standards, which come into effect next year. Honda has also given the SP160 a 4.2-inch TFT display that has Bluetooth connectivity, making it the only commuter in the class to do so. Another useful addition is the USB-C charging port.
Aside from these changes, the SP160 remains the same as it's always been with the 162.71cc, single-cylinder engine now rated for 13.2hp and 14.8Nm of torque. These figures are a small departure from the earlier SP160 which used to make 13.5hp and 14.58Nm.
Available in four colours, the updated Honda SP160 is priced at Rs 1,21,951 (single disc) and Rs 1,27,956 (double disc), which is an increase of Rs 3,000 for the former and Rs 4,605 for the latter.
All prices ex-showroom, Delhi
