Yamaha has revealed the FZ-S Fi Hybrid model at the Auto Expo 2025. This bike gets an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) providing a small electric boost, silent start, start/stop tech and a Bluetooth-compatible TFT display. The FZ-S Hybrid is the first bike in India to use this system.
- The FZ-S Hybrid is still powered by the same 149cc engine
- It gets a Bluetooth-compatible TFT display
- The indicators have been repositioned to the fuel tank
The hybrid tech on the Yamaha FZ-S Fi Hybrid is courtesy of an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG), similar to Yamaha and TVS scooters, which provides a small electric boost to bump up the maximum output of the bike. Two other features that will be also bundled into the FZ-S now will be start/stop tech and a silent start. The FZ-S’s air-cooled, 149cc, single-cylinder engine currently makes 12.4hp and 13.3Nm in the standard bike, so expect a small increment on this hybrid model.
The other change is the presence of a colour TFT display, which brings in features like call/notification alerts and music playback control and make use of new switchgear to control the additional functions. The FZ-S Hybrid’s LED indicators are also present on the faux air vents on the tank extensions. Other than these changes, the FZ-S Hybrid is visually and mechanically identical to the standard bike.
Currently the FZ-S V4 is priced at Rs 1,30,700 for the standard variant and Rs 1,31,200 for the DLX variant.
