The latest update for the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 has launched in India, a little more than a month after the Japanese manufacturer delisted the SUV from its website. The 2025 LC 300 is priced between Rs 2.31 crore and Rs 2.41 crore, as, for the first time, there’s the more off-road-focused GR-S variant that can be opted for. Bookings for both Land Cruiser variants – ZX and GR-S – have opened from today.

Considering the 2025 Land Cruiser 300’s price tag, it costs Rs 21 lakh more than the outgoing model, which can be explained by the updates to the features list, along with the additional safety kit. Factoring its price point, size and powertrain, the LC 300 doesn’t have any direct rivals in the country, though the likes of the Land Rover Defender 110 (Rs 1.32 crore-1.49 crore) and the Mercedes AMG G 63 (Rs 3.6 crore) offer a similar proposition – luxury off-roading for 5 passengers.

Features such as 4-zone climate control, a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, sunroof, front and rear seat ventilation, and 8-way powered driver's seat with manual lumbar adjust, a cool box under the front centre arm rest, 10 airbags and a 360-degree camera continue from the outgoing model. For the 2025 LC 300, Toyota has added its connected car tech – includes remote AC geo-location and fencing and Toyota’s suite of digital convenience features – and a digital instrument cluster, which replaces the analogue dials with a central multi-info display previously on offer. Other kit additions include a leatherette finish for the gear knob.
In addition to the features on the ZX variant, the Land Cruiser 300 GR-S gets a powered tail gate, along with front and rear differential locks and a limited-slip differential at the rear. The last two bits will add during off-roading, as will off-road tech such as crawl control, hill-start and descent assist, terrain modes, a four-camera off-road monitoring system and active traction control. The LC 300 GR-S also gets black exterior accents, a more aggressive front bumper, new black alloy wheels and GR badging on the outside.

Both, the Land Cruiser ZX and the GR-S come with Toyota’s Level 2 autonomous driving assistance system (ADAS) as standard. This safety suite includes adaptive headlights, lane keep assist, autonomous braking and adaptive cruise control.

Toyota offers two exterior colours with the 2025 LC 300 – Precious White Pearl and Attitude Black. While the GR-S variant's interior sports a black and dark red theme, the ZX variant comes with two cabin options that the brand calls Neutral Beige and Black.

Same 309hp, 3.3-litre V6 diesel continues
The updated LC 300 and the GR-S share the same 3.3-litre V6 diesel engine that 309hp and 700Nm of peak torque. The unit is paired to a 10-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox that sends power to all-four wheels. This setup is continues unchanged from its predecessor.
